This easy Dead Sea body scrub will leave your skin smooth, soft, and tingling! It's one of the easiest homemade spa treatments.
It's the essential oils that provide that tingling sensation as well as a lovely scent. The salt granules scrub and slough off dry, dead skin cells, revealing soft, smooth skin underneath.
And this concoction is so easy to make! You can make this salt scrub at home with just 3 ingredients, all available at your supermarket or health store.

Lake Austin Dead Sea Salt Body Scrub
Ingredients:
• 30 drops essential oil (lavender for relaxation or rosemary to refresh)
• 1/2 cup vegetable oil
• 1/2 cup Dead Sea Salts (available at health food stores)
- In a small bowl, combine the oils, then add the Dead Sea salts. Mix thoroughly.
- Shower or bathe to dampen the skin, then rub mixture over the body. Massage gently over most areas; use firmer pressure on elbows and knees.
- Rinse and pat skin dry. Apply a light lotion to seal in moisture.
Store in a tightly sealed container. The ingredients don't last long, but you can use a nice, decorative container to store the scrub near your tub or shower.
This is great for dull, dry winter skin or flaking summer skin (do not use on sunburns!). But remember to follow up with a light application of lotion to lock in moisture and maintain that smooth skin!
